Great for Montessori Schools
I am writing this letter to endorse the product “Flipping for Phonics”. As a Montessorian and school owner, I only endorse a product and encourage parents to purchase it when I feel that product is excellent in concept and design. “Flipping for Phonics” is such a product.
I am impressed by the versatility and ease of use of this product. The “Flipping for Phonics” educational tool can be used by a parent, child, or teacher; at home, in the car, and at school. The directions make it easy to use. “Flipping for Phonics” aligns with our methods for teaching reading, moving from the simplest “CVC” phonetic words, to recognition and mastery of the various phonemic patterns a child will encounter.
We have already partnered with Flipping for Phonics, Inc., to allow our parents to learn about this tool. In addition, we have purchased Flipping for Phonics for use in the classroom. I have also considered ways to make sure every family has a copy to use at home. Thank you for creating this fine product.
Sincerely,

ESL - English as a Second Language for children and adults
Dear Ellen, Our secretary told me you inquired about our usage of Flipping for Phonics. We are using the program for our Literacy level, English as a Second Language students (non-readers). Students in that class come from countries using symbolic language. Often they are illiterate in their own language, as well. We use it in small groups and use the synthetic phonics approach and later introduce the analytic phonetics.
We have found the Flipping for Phonics to be a successful program for our Literacy Level students. Students gain confidence and feel a measure of success immediately upon using the program. I would recommend it to any program where students need to start from scratch! This is appropriate for all grade levels from K-adult ESL or first language learners.
I was so pleased to find this product, as years ago I used a similar product and loved it! Thanks for publishing it!
Sincerely,

I have recently been introduced to “Flipping for Phonics”. As an education coordinator for a federal preschool program, I need to be very careful of what I put into the classrooms. At the present time, I oversee the 0-3year old age groups. Many of our children have had no exposure to the English language, with only Spanish, Creole or various dialects spoken at home. After listening to the upbeat songs, accompanied by the delightful, colorful, eye catching book I am very excited to introduce it to my centers.
At the young age of 2, we know that rhythm and clapping is the beginning of auditory discrimination, necessary to learn any language. Activities such as repeating clapping sequences, beating “the drums” to syllables in your name or to a song enhance this learning process. Keeping this in mind, “Flipping for Phonics” is absolutely great. The music is terrific. The words are short, quick and easy to repeat. And the best part is that the children love it. I am very impressed at how adaptable this program can be for the little ones that I serve. Not only do they come running when they see the book, but they actually listen and dance to the music. You can’t help but repeat the rhyming words, and start to learn the beginnings of the language through phonetic concepts almost immediately.

Special Needs Teacher Delighted
.
"Flipping For Phonics® is a dynamic tool that can be used with young children both to motivate them and strengthen their phonic skills.
I had the pleasure of using this material for almost a year with a special needs child. From the moment of its introduction it became her favorite skill-building activity. She progressed from being able to sound out and read the words to suggesting that she could also do her spelling on the chart. We were both delighted."
